The Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region, Alexander Tsybulsky, signed a decree to lift the travel restrictions for tourists and pilgrims visiting the territory of the Solovetsky Archipelago from July 15. However, they still need to have a certificate of the absence of Covid-19, issued no earlier than two calendar days before the day of arrival in Solovki. Transport organizations, hotels and other accommodation facilities will check the presence of this document.
The same decree removes restrictions on hotel accommodation bookings. Outdoor excursions are also allowed, individually or in groups of no more than five people. In case the specialized radio equipment is available groups can be up to 10 people. Exhibitions visits are still prohibited.
